Congratulations North Kiteboarding Team!
German North Kiteboarding riders Mario Rodwald and Sabrina Lutz take the win at the third leg of the MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe Freestyle this week at Scheveningen. Second ranked Dutch Freestyle rider Annelous Lammerts ended up taking the third place, wasting precious points for the European Freestyle ranking. Also in the men’s division North Kiteboarding International teamrider Mario Rodwald dominated from the start, enlarging his lead with a first place at Scheveningen after already winning the first two tour stops. Pure domination, well done Mario! With a full day of spectacular freestyle action, the MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe in Scheveningen came to an end today. With strong, gusty winds, Europe’s best freestylers showcased a high level of riding. Spectacular tricks and the sun brought many spectators to the beach of Scheveningen. Second ranked Annelous Lammerts didn’t perform at her best and was happy to at least get on the podium at the end of the day, taking the third place after North Kiteboarding rank leader Sabrina Lutz and Russian Viktoria Rosinska .Sabrina is now in the perfect position to win the overall title, keep it up!! Mario Rodwald was taking first place, followed by Paul Serin and Valentin Garat.Finishing the European Freestyle Championships puts an end to the tourstop at Scheveningen, where earlier this week the Course Race discipline were completed. After seven races Dutch Katja Roose finished third place, behind British North Kiteboarding legend Steph Bridge and Polish rider Aga Grzymska. As always we can say: well done Steph!! Stay tuned for the overall decisions in Barcelona and hopefully again some North Kiteboarding podiums!
